I just wanted to write a quick 5 star update for a past experience before they return my car back from it's current experience, and I update again with what I'm sure will be another glowing review. About a year ago something in my car was wigging out. Again, I know next to nothing about my car (although after this current issue, I know I should check the oil more often) but I love it dearly, and respect and appreciate all the courtesy European Auto Hause has thus far given me. I took it in, and they took a poke around and gave me a call back that it was the spark plug(?) fuse box(?) (do cars have fuse boxes....?) Anyway, something was damaged and needed to be replaced which they did for me day of. Flash forward to a few months ago, I'm driving up the 5 coming home from work late at night in Anaheim, and I swear my dashboard light is getting dimmer. I chalk it up to a trick of my brain, and keep on driving. On the 210 sh*t starts to get real. For sure now I can tell my dashboard is super dim, and my radio is flickering and no longer playing the music hooked up through my iPhone. I decide to play it safe and merge over into the slow lane when suddenly all the lights on my dash go dark. I pull over to the side, turn the car off and try to restart it --- nothing. The lights just go crazy blinking and the engine won't turn over (I think that's a phrase that's correct) Anyway, after a very long story concerning a full bladder, a tow truck, and a 7-11 that was just a bit too far away, I was able to take it into Fares to get it looked at and evaluated the next morning. After I brought it in, they offered me a complimentary ride home (which I declined because it's so close to a metro stop and I had a couple of errands around the area anyway) and were able to call me with the issues later that day. Unfortunately, my alternator died, and in doing so, drained or damaged my battery and destroyed the relatively new fuse box (? I really have no idea what it's called). So Fares explained to me over the phone what the charges were going to be and why. When I came in to pick it up, he mentioned that he noticed they had just changed that box thing a few months back, so he replaced it for free. TALK ABOUT AMAZING SERVICE! (He also let me keep the old fried one cuz I asked for it... not sure why I wanted it, and not sure where it even is anymore, but thanks for letting me keep it all the same!) I was so worried about how much it would cost me, but everything I've gotten fixed at European Auto Hause has been priced very reasonably. ESPECIALLY for a starving actor in a 12 year old car. So thank you from the bottom of my heart European Auto Hause -- I love my car so much, and don't know what I'd have done without you guys! I look forward to getting my car back in beautiful tip top, ship shape condition, and being able to update again with another phenomenal review about you guys!
