In California, our governor has mandated a shelter in place order that requires us to stay home unless we are leaving our homes or an essential reason, such as getting food or supplies or going to work. The order also caused many non-essential businesses to close and requires restaurants to only offer to-go or delivery service. Our shelter in place order encourages social distancing, keeping at least 6 feet between you and any other person, and advises against social gathering. Even among the COVID-19 closures in California, auto repair shops are permitted to remain open and are considered an essential service. This is because many people are going to rely on their vehicles during this time, and may find themselves dealing with a car issue while we are still under shelter in place orders. People will still need their vehicles to get them to shops to retrieve their family's needed supplies and essential field workers will still need their vehicles to get to work.  ... read more
